It has been a long road so far with me being so sick and an admission to Manly Hospital with hyperemesis! In the last week I feel like I have turned a corner and have also popped big time!
We are just waiting for our anatomy scan on Tuesday to confirm all is ok with the bubs and then it will be a case of cat out of the bag as there will be no holding it secret for much longer!!
As I am now 41 the risks are all much higher… the chromosome abnormalities are like 1:50 and so we choose to have the Nest testing- 10 1/2 week blood test and then 13 1/2 week anatomy scan… the blood results were “low probability” and are over 99% accurate.. so that has been a relief now just to make sure the little bean has developed all it’s bits properly will be the biggest relief!
The family all know and Nick and Morag though we have kept it quiet from all else until we know all is ok!!
This mummy is tired tonight after a big day having a family birthday party for Will’s 4th birthday next Monday and so currently soaking in a bath!! Ahhhhh….
