This morning, after a hideous night of Toby being sick and in our bed in my arms all night with the added extra of projectile vomit all over me and down my pajama top I wake to hear Will talking through the Gruffalo story.

I get out of bed (0650hrs) and walk out thinking that he will be in his bed reading and I find him sitting on the couch with the Gruffalo and The whale and the snail and he is quietly reading to himself..

He saw I was asleep and so chose to come and sit and read books!!

Melt my heart!

He is such a treasure!! 

Nanna and poppy bought Will a portable DVD player and headphones for his gift after their holiday to Malaysia recently… He is loving both of them!! Be it headphones into the tv or relaxing on the couch watching Hoopla Doopla or Shrek!! That’s all the DVD’s we have at the moment 😝

Our big boy is growing up!!

He has advanced to the next class and is swimming by himself in a class of 4!! He loves being independent and not having to have mummy or daddy with him!!

He is our little dolphin!!

I impressed not only myself but everyone else with my caramel mud cake with dark and white chocolate ganache, and salted caramel sauce, topped with white chocolate macaroons, snickers and flake!!

Was yummy and turned out pretty good for my first attempt at such a decadent cake!! 

OUCHY!! Here it comes…

Our baby is growing up!! 😢

When did our little boy become wise, knowledgable and one to speak sentences that flow and actually make sense?

This morning when making my smoothie with the nutribullet I get “that’s enough mummy, I’m watching fireman sam and it’s too noisy, I don’t like it”!!!

I better stop blinking as this is going too fast and before we know it he will be at school 😢

These two keep us on our toes.. Love hate relationship they have but oh so much fun!!

Savanna and Will spent hours playing at deewhy park yesterday and getting into oh so much mischief!! 

The boys are now officially sharing a room!!

This started when  Toby was just too big and mobile to be contained any longer in the bassinet…

Surprisingly it has gone on without any concerns or bad behavior..

William is the doting and caring big brother making sure he doesn’t make too much noise to wake his brother.. We can’t say the same for Toby who uses his lungs regardless what Will is up too!!

Will loves to colour and draw though not sure he will be the Picasso he thinks he is! 😉 

 Puréed pear was his first delicacy a little over a week ago and he wasn’t sure to start but ended up liking the flavour and perhaps even the idea of something more than milk in his little mouth!! Will loved being part of this little “game”!! 

Will (2yrs 8 mths) started toilet training properly yesterday and did very well.. He told me every time he wanted to wee and took himself off to the toilet.. Even in the car he told me and I stopped and helped him pee on the nature strip!!

He loves his big boy undies so much that last night he took them to bed…hooked around his arm!!

We just need to see if Pooh can be successful!!

Until Will ruined it by hitting Toby 😳

We had a slow start to our getaway with traffic +++ on the roads up to Umina though we managed with two whingy children, 1 tired mumma and a patient daddy!!

We arrived and set up our camper trailer beautifully!! Such a great investment…

We have had nothing but fun since.. Will has joined in the festivities that the park has to offer.. Starting with Easter hat craft

  
He went with Jack (5) a new friend that is in the van next door.. Jack and him have been playing and enjoying each other’s company, Will is actually being bossed around and taking it very well!!

Then Will got a balance bike from mummy and daddy for Easter because he was really ready for it developmentally!

This morning was Easter Sunday and the Easter bunny left some nice treats for Will in his basket and ate a big bite from the carrot he left out!!

Breakfast, morning tea, lunch and snacks so far have been chocolate!! 

  
Will also took part in the Easter egg hunt, he had fun and even got his photo with the Easter bunny!!

This afternoon it rained so hard and heavy.. Was nice and peaceful with both boys asleep

   
 
LOVIN THE CAMPER!!! 

So mummy bit the bullet and decided I could wrangle two kids at the show with nanna’s support!

Off we went leaving home at 750am so we could be there when it started at 9am.. The journey started with “I want to get ouuttttttt”! This was going to be a long car trip 🙄 though I was able to engage Will in discussion about our surroundings and surprisingly he was fine.. Though as we drove into the car park I hear “blurghhh” and he vomits in his car seat!! Lucky it wasn’t massive and was easily contained so we could head on our way to the fun!!

He started out being a little overwhelmed by all that was going on, he kept saying “yuk, stinky” in the goat and pig section, he then got to grind oats and wheat in the food farm section and attempt to make pasta….

When we moved onto the farmyard nursery he really didn’t like the animals near him and preferred Nanna hold him and mummy feed the animals!  

 We just missed the cows being milked but go to see some big cows!!

We looked around more and saw lots of interesting things.. We paid a gold coin donation and sat on a police motorbike which he loved

  
He ate honey donut balls, chocolate milkshake, hotdog, Bertie beetle, ice cream with strawberries and some Jatz!!

But the fun was yet to be experienced with rides on the carousel, miniature train, balloons and Red Baron plane!!

   
    
 
Anyways couldn’t end the day without a visit to the show at pavilion!! He choose George pig, bubble bag and Bertie beetles!!

He was so tired he slept all the way home!!

We tried Will with a soft boiled egg last night for the first time since he has had an allergy.. He ate half as it is foreign to him and not sure of the taste though he had no reaction!!

So we may have over come the egg allergy!! Now just fingers crossed that Toby doesn’t have any allergy or sensitivity!! 🍳🍳🍳

  
Our beautiful boys were sharing a special moment this afternoon… Heart melting stuff..

Today Toby is rolling over any chance he gets and he had not long before this moment rolled over and Will got out the books to show him colours and animals.

We are very lucky mummy and daddy to have such beautiful boys bless our lives…

North harbour reserve…

We enjoyed a baby chino together and then it was on! Scootering!!!

Will didn’t want to play on the equipment, the swing and the scooter are the flavor of today!!

He made some little friends, trading tiny teddies for their digger was very resourceful and smart bargaining!!

He surprises me everyday with his words, conversation and knowledge. He is growing so fast, can we put on the brakes please!! 

  At 14 weeks Toby James actually was happy to do tummy time!! Didn’t last long before he put his head down and bum up “worming” his way forward then becoming frustrated that he can’t move!! Yikes… Slow down my baby..
Toby has already rolled from front to back and back to front 3 times in the past 2 weeks – maybe trying to escape a “loving” big brother who wants to hug and play all the time!! Haha…
